Section Leaders are both the musical leaders of their respective sections but also the representatives of their sections to the Board of Directors. Section Leaders are selected for one year terms each April by the Artistic Director and are members of the Chorus Committee. The most important duties of section leaders are:

• Represent the section and serve as members of the Chorus Committee
• Communicate as needed with members of the section
• Assist in improving musicality in the section
• Keep attendance and monitor singer status
• Answer questions of section members about Concert Singers of Cary
• Assist the Librarian with distribution and collection of music and other properties
• Assist other committees as needed
