News from the Library and Property Committee Chair: None at this time.
The CSC Library and Property Committee takes care of the organization's music library and various properties owned by Concert Singers of Cary.
The Committee's most important tasks include:
Jan Mott is the current Library and Property Committee chair.
Jan says "Born and raised in Maine. Earned teaching degree from U. of
Maine. Taught 1 year in Connecticut and 1 year in Colorado when I followed my
husband to his Army Post. Then started a family. Been singing since 5 in
choirs and choruses and have been director of college chapel choir, church
organist accompanist and soloist. Was a 16 yr. member of Sweet Adelines, in
several competing quartets and award winning choruses, as well as directing 2
choruses. Have dabbled in arranging 4 - part music. Was member of Raleigh
Community Choir before chartering with CSC in 1991. I love CSC and teaching
and directing Cary Voices Unlimited. I'm an avid golfer and gardener, althought not a master
at either. Have a great family, including 6 cute grandchildren."
Meetings of the Library committee are usually arranged by phone prior to the distribution of music and after music collection at the end of concerts. There are no currently scheduled meetings of the committee.
Carleen Dubin has been assisting with the library and property activities.
