What Does the Development Committee Do?

The CSC Development Committee is the most important of CSC's several fundraising committees. The Development Committee raises approximately half of the entire budget through grant writing, a public pledge campaign, sales of sponsorships, and sales of program advertisements.

The committee's most important tasks include:

Fall public pledge and matching gift campaign (October and April)
Program advertising sales (Summer)
Solicitation of concert sponsorships (ongoing)
Preparation of Town of Cary sponsorship grant (January through February)
Preparation of United Arts Council grant (November through January)
Solicitation of other public and private grants (ongoing)
