Report of the Executive Director FINANCES / FUNDRAISING: Income continues to do well, as we have surpassed our pledge campaign goal (thanks to the leadership of Ellen Schloemer) and are on track in all categories except sales. Expenses are running at budget but we frontloaded some January concert expenses and overall are tracking behind expectations if that is taken into account. Our audit and 990 are done, and we only need to work on the Charitable Solicitation License paperwork due next month. I filed our MARKETING / PUBLISHING: Publicity and printing are well underway through the January concert. Programs were received from the printer on December 5th. We are participating in spring joint promotions in Cary. LOGISTICS: Everything is well in hand. We handled our November 12 rehearsal at Glenaire, are complete with arrangements at St. Paul's and are now working out last details at UUFR for Voices of Light. MISCELLANEOUS: Our new carolling group under Greg Tarsa has started a series appearances beginning with Heart of the Holdays and ending December 17th. We have been collecting drop-out scores for Voices of Light and are largely on top of that matter. The Cary Children's Concert Choir performance on December 7th is expected to go well. Volunteers were not as plentiful as usual for December 8th. I can't explain that. Respectfully submitted, David R. Lindquist Executive Director
