Report of the Executive Director
Submitted for the April 15 meeting of the Board of Directors and the April 1 meeting of the Chorus Committee

Finances and Budget: We continue to track well on income and expenditures. Our remaining question marks is still May concert revenue. It appears Musicales may come in under hopes, but late ticket orders were coming in as this was written.

Grants: We appear to be well positioned for a grant increase from the Town of Cary up to 25% over last year. This was recommended to Town Council. Our United Arts grant panel interviews will be later this month.

Other Items: (1) We're continuing to work concert logistics for April 26, May 24/25, and July 5. I have been in discussion with Town of Cary staff and also counterparts at Triangle Wind Ensemble. (2) An audit committee met March 18 and recommended retaining Joyce and Company CPAs for FY08 audit. (3) Excess music was returned to JW Pepper for credit.

Respectfully submitted,

David R. Lindquist

Executive Director
